I’ve got a few quick tips to share today that all first-time homebuyers should know. My top three tips are:

1. Align yourself with an agent who really knows the market and has your best interests at heart.

2. Go through the pre-approval process before you start looking at homes so you can get a better idea of what you can actually afford.

3. Think about location. If you have a specific location in mind, you should start your search there.
